Support the band
Help us keep the music playing
The band is a registered charity. Everything you give goes towards its charitable work.
Where your support goes
Your donations support our rehearsals, our music, and our concerts in the community. If you give to a specific appeal, we’ll use it for that purpose, and any surplus goes towards the band’s general charitable work.
Music
New pieces for the whole band to play, from arrangements to full scores and parts. We aim to keep our repertoire current, and this is only possible with your help.
Travel and concert hall hire
Getting the band and our equipment to concerts takes planning and transport, and the venues we perform in have to be hired. Your support helps us play in halls, churches and community spaces across the area, so that our music reaches as many people as possible.
Make a donation
Every gift, large or small, helps us keep making music for the community. You can donate securely online through PayPal. You don’t need a PayPal account to do it, because you can pay by card.
Payment by online bank transfer is also possible. Please include your name as the payment reference.

Other ways to help
Gift Aid
If you’re a UK taxpayer, Gift Aid lets us claim an extra 25p for every £1 you give, at no extra cost to you.
To use it, please complete our short Gift Aid declaration: Gift Aid declaration form (pdf). We need your full name and home address to make the claim.
Once complete email our Treasurer.
Volunteer
You don’t need to play an instrument to be part of the band. We’d love help at our concerts, with welcoming audiences, selling tickets and programmes, running the raffle, setting up and clearing away, and spreading the word. Even a couple of hours makes a real difference, and it’s a friendly way to meet people and support live music in the community.
