We have been invited to play at Erskine Home (formerly Erskine Hospice) at their Christmas Tree Light Switch On Ceremony and Dedication on Thursday 7th December 2017. There will be a parade along the street with a pipe band, school children and families ending at the Home where Christmas tree lights will be switched on at about 6.30pm before we are due to play, children and families may stay on afterwards. We will play indoors from 7.30pm to 9.30pm with a break for mince pies and mulled wine. On previous occasions our Band members have made every effort to speak to as many of the residents as possible during the interval, which has been very much appreciated by residents and staff. We would like to continue this tradition.
