** From the Constitution: Committee members are elected for a 3 year term. “5.9  Normally no Committee member may serve more than two consecutive terms, unless they be elected as Chairperson. Exceptionally for the Treasurer, Secretary, and Librarian, Committee membership may be extended in the absence of suitable willing replacements and in the interest of continuity.”

In the interest of continuity, Ruth, Fiona and Alison have agreed to remain in post for the time being unless suitable willing replacements emerge. Anna is willing to continue for a further year if required (this would allow us to better stagger regular committee terms of appointment). Annie will be on 6 mth leave abroad for part of the year.
